Press Release
2019 Marks Inceptia’s Sixth Annual “Great Advice for Grads”

Lincoln, Neb. (April 1, 2019) – In celebration of the Class of 2019, Inceptia has published "Great Advice for Grads," a free e-guide providing advice on student loans and repayment, money, and living your best life.

This sixth edition continues a collaborative relationship with the personal finance site NerdWallet, with the shared goal of providing college graduates with the financial advice they need, at a time when they need it most.

"Graduation is such an exciting time, it’s hard to focus on a lot of the fine print that is associated with student loan exit counseling," says Carissa Uhlman, vice president of student success.

"Great Advice for Grads is a handy resource that graduates can come back to one, three, six months down the road to refresh their memories and prepare for loan repayment. Plus, we give them some solid financial advice, as well as some lighter content to help them have responsible fun with money."

The 2019 e-guide features content that addresses timely issues for graduating students, including:

  • 5 Ways to Spot a Student Loan Scam
  • Military Student Loan Rights
  • Change Your Screen Habits from Time-Wasting to Money-Saving
  • Spend Money Guilt Free – Even With Student Loans

As part of Inceptia’s nonprofit mission, all content is carefully chosen to provide unbiased and relevant content that anyone can share. Says Uhlman, "We want all graduates to be financially empowered, so we make the guide available to anyone who chooses to share it: schools, employers, family – we want everyone to have access to the great information we’ve curated. Creating it as an online resource makes the sharing just that much easier."
